Hostinger Premium vs Unlimited vs E-commerce Startup: which hosting plan is right for you? It’s a common question when Hostinger’s Black Friday offers are running. In my latest 6-minute, 29-second video, I walk through the plan comparison, explain the differences in storage, website limits, backups, email and AI features, and show how to check a free first-year domain and apply my coupon at checkout.

I have personally used Hostinger for about five years. I started with Premium and moved to Unlimited from my second year onward. Below, I’ll explain why Unlimited has been a good fit for my projects and when another plan could be the smarter choice.

Premium vs Unlimited vs E-commerce Startup: At a Glance

Here’s a simplified comparison of the versions shown in my recording. Hostinger may rename plans or revise included features, so use the official Hostinger pricing and feature table for the latest checkout-eligible configuration.

Feature in video Premium Unlimited E-commerce Startup / Cloud Startup
Website allowance 3 websites Unlimited* Unlimited*
Storage 20 GB SSD 50 GB NVMe 100 GB NVMe
Backups Weekly Daily, easier restore Daily and on-demand
Mailboxes in recording 2 per website Higher/unlimited allowance* Higher/unlimited allowance*
Best fit to evaluate Smaller websites Several websites and growing projects Busier or resource-intensive sites

*“Unlimited” features are subject to Hostinger’s applicable fair-usage conditions and any updated plan limits. Email promotions may be available only for the first year. The terminology used in the video reflects the plan display at recording; some markets label the higher-resource option Cloud Startup.

1. Hostinger Premium: An Affordable Starting Point

For beginners building a personal blog, a small business website or a relatively simple WordPress site, Premium may be enough. My video shows a plan with 20 GB SSD storage and weekly backups, alongside WordPress and site-building tools.

When assessing Premium, I’d check your number of websites, expected storage use, how often you update your content and how much you value frequent backups. If you’re just launching a project, it’s worth comparing the actual entry-level feature set rather than paying for unused capacity.

My take: Premium is worth considering if cost matters most and your requirements are modest. The important point is to compare it with the next tier using current pricing, because promotional differences can be surprisingly small.

2. Hostinger Unlimited: The Plan I’ve Used for Years

This is my personal preference in the video. After starting on Premium, I switched to Unlimited and have used it for most of my five-year experience with Hostinger.

In the plan comparison, Unlimited adds 50 GB NVMe storage, daily backups and broader website and email allowances. Those features can be useful if you maintain multiple WordPress websites or want additional headroom for new projects.

That said, unlimited website allowances don’t mean infinite CPU, RAM or other server resources. Check the limits and fair-usage policy before moving several high-traffic stores onto one subscription.

My take: If you run several websites, want more flexible storage and value daily backups, Unlimited is a sensible option to evaluate. I wouldn’t recommend it solely because I personally use it—match the plan to your needs.

3. E-commerce Startup / Cloud Startup: More Resources for Growing Stores

In the video, the higher-resource plan offers 100 GB NVMe storage and daily plus on-demand backups. It is geared toward growing businesses that need more capacity for stores, plugins, databases and customer traffic.

An ecommerce website can use more resources than a simple blog, especially with large catalogues, complex extensions and high checkout volume. But simply operating several online stores is not proof that you need a particular tier; resource requirements vary dramatically.

My take: For resource-intensive sites, a higher-tier managed or cloud package is worth comparing. Evaluate available CPU/RAM resources, backups, staging, isolation and support alongside the price.

4. What About Hostinger VPS Plans?

I also briefly compare KVM 1, KVM 2, KVM 4 and KVM 8 VPS options in the video. VPS hosting offers a different approach: more direct control over server configuration, but typically more responsibility for security, deployment and maintenance.

For WordPress beginners and owners who don’t want to administer a server, managed hosting may be a better fit. For experienced developers or applications requiring custom environments, a VPS can be more suitable. Compare current processor, RAM, storage, network, backup and management specifications individually.

How to Apply ALIRAZAMARKETING During Black Friday Checkout

  1. Open my Hostinger offer: Visit https://aliraza.co/buyhostinger/.
  2. Select a suitable plan: Choose Premium, Unlimited, Cloud Startup or the product that fits your actual needs.
  3. Choose the billing period: Compare 1-, 12-, 24- and 48-month terms where offered. Longer terms often mean a lower introductory monthly equivalent but more money upfront.
  4. Check domain eligibility: Select a qualifying plan and term. Hostinger’s current official help article explains the one-year domain benefit and its limitations.
  5. Apply the coupon: Enter ALIRAZAMARKETING at checkout, if a coupon field is available. Confirm whether it actually changes the payable amount.
  6. Review the final bill: Inspect the introductory total, taxes, optional extras, hosting renewal rate and the domain renewal price after the free period.
  7. Complete payment: Log in or create your Hostinger account and select one of the payment methods available in your region.

Should You Select 48 Months?

In the video, I suggest comparing the 48-month option because long-term subscriptions can have attractive introductory monthly-equivalent prices. But it isn’t necessarily the right choice for everyone. You pay upfront for a longer period, and the next renewal may be significantly higher. A newer business with uncertain requirements may prefer a shorter term.

My recommendation is to calculate the full cost for the time you’ll actually use the service. Don’t assume that a Black Friday deal—or the exact same feature allowance—will never be available again.

Free First-Year Domain: Important Conditions

Hostinger’s documentation states that eligible new plans purchased for 12 months or longer can include a domain for the first year. Specific domain extensions and plan eligibility vary, and renewal is generally charged after the included year. Some hosting plan names and offers have changed since older comparisons were recorded.

If the domain doesn’t appear in the cart as included, don’t assume it will be granted after payment. Review the official domain instructions or contact Hostinger before purchasing.

FAQ: Choosing Hostinger Hosting

Is Hostinger Unlimited better than Premium?

It can be better for users who need more resources, additional websites or daily backups. But Premium may be enough for a modest site. Compare the current price and limits before deciding.

Is Cloud Startup necessary for an online store?

No. Smaller ecommerce stores can sometimes run on lower tiers. More demanding stores may benefit from additional resources. Assess your real traffic and workload.

Does the coupon guarantee 95% off?

No. “Up to 95%” in the video is a conditional promotional-value claim rather than a guaranteed direct reduction on the invoice. Verify the total in your actual checkout.

Is the domain free forever?

No. Eligible first-year registrations usually have a renewal charge after that year.

Which Hostinger plan do I personally use?

As described in the video, I started with Premium and have used Unlimited from my second year onward, for approximately five years total.

My Final Recommendation

For a smaller site, start by comparing Premium. For multiple WordPress projects, Unlimited can provide a useful balance. For demanding ecommerce projects or agencies, compare Cloud Startup and other higher-resource options. And if you need a custom server environment, examine VPS plans carefully.
